A studio
built around play.
Copperwhim develops original puzzle games for mobile. Our current projects are SnapLoop and Alien Burst.
They put two different decisions in your hands. SnapLoop asks where a line should go. Alien Burst asks which ship should fly next.
Both start with a gesture you can understand at a glance. Their challenge comes from the pieces around it: a decoy near the edge of your loop, or a waiting area filling up with returning ships.
How the
puzzle feels.
A line you can revise
SnapLoop’s loop follows your finger between anchors. You can change the route when a shape sits just outside it, or a decoy slips inside. The outline makes the decision visible.
Collection with consequences
In Alien Burst, collecting pins changes what the next ship can reach. Full ships carry their cargo away. Partly filled ships need room to return, so a launch is also a decision about space.
Movement that explains the move
A loop settling around its anchors or a ship filling with pins should help you follow the puzzle. We develop animation, sound and visual cues with that purpose in mind.
Good to know.
Where can I play the games?
Both games are in development. Confirmed release dates, supported devices and store links will appear on their game pages.
What kind of games does Copperwhim make?
Mobile puzzle games about drawing, planning and watching a board change. In SnapLoop you enclose shapes with an elastic loop. In Alien Burst you choose ships to collect coloured pins.
Where can I find press materials?
The press room brings together studio and game factsheets, SVG logos and downloadable concept artwork.
Are the illustrations gameplay screenshots?
The illustrations express ideas from our games. They are concept artwork created for this website, rather than screenshots or a promise of final in-game visuals.
